WOW! This is what's missing in American Christianity today. Our churches are in a sad situation. Either they're 'works righteousness' or 'prosperity gospel' both lead to distraction and despair. We need more of this type of teaching.

I am so happy to see this video posted on your blog and I agree with what Paul Washer says in this clip. However, I find the message of this video to be in conflict with your TLC show in which the emphasis of your Christianity is indeed basic life principles and not the gospel. If the two of you do believe what Washer says to be true (which I hope you do) you promote the opposite by your affiliation with Bill Gothard and the IBLP, and your promotion of their teachings on your TLC show and in your book, "Growing Up Duggar".
As your sister in Christ, I pray that God will give you wisdom as you use your position in our culture to preach the gospel. I pray that He will use you to bring the good news of His glorious grace through Jesus Christ to the lost. I pray that you will continue to grow in your knowledge and love of Him, and will strive to glorify Him, no matter the cost to yourselves.
